Total Energy will deploy methane emission detection technology for Indian oil
According to World Oil Network on November 19th, TotalEnergies and Indian Oil Limited (OIL) have signed a cooperation agreement to deploy TotalEnergies' cutting-edge technology AUSEA at the production site of Indian Oil for methane emission detection and measurement activities.
As part of the commitment of the Oil and Gas Decarbonization Charter (OGDC), OIL will adopt AUSEA technology to effectively identify and reduce methane emissions, contributing to the decarbonization efforts of the entire industry. It is reported that AUSEA is able to reach emission points that are difficult to reach for all types of industrial facilities (including offshore and onshore), and is considered one of the most accurate technologies in the industry.
Patrick Pouyann é, Chairman and CEO of TotalEnergies, said, "We are pleased that Indian Oil Company has joined our growing list of national company partnerships and provided AUSEA technology to them.
