Goldman Sachs predicts that the average price of Brent crude oil in 2025 will be $76 per barrel
Goldman Sachs recently predicted that due to oversupply in the oil market, the average price of Brent crude oil in 2025 will drop to $76 per barrel, lower than the expected average price of $80 per barrel in 2024.
Goldman Sachs predicts that by 2025, the global oil market will experience a daily oversupply of 400000 barrels. It is expected that by 2026, the oversupply will increase to 900000 barrels per day. Therefore, the average price of Brent crude oil in 2026 will be $71 per barrel.
But Goldman Sachs also stated that if the United States imposes stricter sanctions on Iran's oil industry and exports, oil prices will face the risk of rising in the short term. Goldman Sachs analysts pointed out that if the United States imposes stricter sanctions on Iran, Iran's oil supply may decrease by 1 million barrels per day, and Brent crude oil prices may soar to $85 per barrel early next year.
